Dog Strangling Vine has been found recently (July 2020) in Kentville, Wolfville and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The oddly-named invasive species has not been previously seen in the province. Hopefully, there is only a small amount, and it can be eradicated quickly.
Please see the following Dog Strangling Vine poster. The poster contains information about the plant, how to identify it, and how to report it if you do see it in Nova Scotia. A more detailed factsheet provides further information on this invasive plant.
