Happy #FeatureFriday! Today we’ll be learning about #HemlockWoolyAdelgid: an aphid-like #insect that infests #Hemlock Trees. HWA feeds on nutrient and water storage cells at the base of hemlock needles, which causes needle loss and stem dieback, resulting in tree death.
